Today Sad News: Kin Shriner of General Hospital makes a shocking announcement about leaving GH!
General Hospital Comings and Goings reveal a major casting shocker! GH legend, Kin Shriner, who portrays Scott Baldwin a.k.a. Scotty, is exiting the ABC soap.
The entertaining star has been part of the sudser since August 1997 and is really loved by the fandom. Therefore, when he revealed the shocking news on his social media, GH fans were stunned.
Even though Scotty is integral and always relevant on the ABC sudser, he has been missing for it for a while now. Thus, an enthusiastic fan took to their X account to express their desire to see Scott back on the screen.
“The sooner Scott Baldwin returns, the better,” they wrote. Shockingly, the actor in question responded to the post, claiming that “Scott Baldwin” is gone.
We can understand that many fans must have skipped a beat upon reading that Scott is leaving, reveal General Hospital Comings and Goings.
However, many others refused to believe the Daytime star! “Scott Baldwin will never be gone from Port Charles,” one of them wrote. Another claimed that the actor cries wolf every year, However, they hoped that it wasn’t true and that Scot would stay on.
We did a little digging and have not really found anything that supports the possibility of Kin Shriner actually leaving General Hospital. Had it been any other actor, we could have taken them at their word.
But, considering that he does cry wold every year, we are not certain if he really means it. Whatever the case may be, we will find out and report back to you.
