*General Hospital* fans are known for their passionate engagement with the show’s storylines. Whether we love to hate a villain, laugh at a comedic moment, or cry at a gut-wrenching scene, our emotions are deeply tied to the characters’ journeys. The actors feel this intensity too. Recently, Laura Wright, who plays Carly, shared her thoughts on some particularly emotional scenes.

In a post featuring a screenshot from the May 20th episode, Wright praised the incredible work of Maurice Benard (Sonny) and Kate Mansi. The drama unfolded when Christina overheard Sonny screaming that he was going to kill Dex and Jason. Startled and terrified, she rushed into the ladies’ room, where Sonny found her soon after. Despite his attempts to explain his outburst, Christina, shaken, ordered him to leave. She later broke down in front of Blaze, devastated by the realization of who her father really was.

Carly, upon finding Sonny, listened as he expressed his fear that he had lost his daughter’s love forever. Carly reassured him that while Christina was deeply affected, she still loved him. She advised Sonny to give Christina some space and to never behave that way again. However, Sonny couldn’t make any promises.

Maurice Benard also shared a post, thanking everyone for the incredible discussions on mental health that the episode sparked. He praised the writers for their sensitive portrayal of bipolar disorder and acknowledged the hard work that goes into delivering such powerful performances.

Fans responded warmly to Wright and Benard’s posts, appreciating the emotional depth of the scenes. Over the years, Carly and Sonny have given us many memorable moments, and we can be sure that more are on the way. Thank you for watching this video.
