General Hospital Spoilers: A New Man Enters For Trina, Sparks Fly With Gio
We have been seeing lesser and lesser of Trina, ever since Spencer exited the soap, recall General Hospital Spoilers. Part of this could be due to the fact that most of Trina’s storyline was about her and Spencer’s journey together. Which, unfortunately, came to a premature halt due to his drowning in Paris.
While there is still some hope in our hearts that he may have somehow managed to survive off-screen and will return at some point, we know it’s not happening right away. General Hospital Spoilers have confirmed that actor Nicholas Chavez is not returning to GH as Spencer in the near future. Which brings us to the point in hand!
The rumor mill is churning that the latest addition to the Port Charles canvas, a.k.a. Gio (Giovanni Mazza)has been brought in as a potential love interest for Trina! At first, it felt like Gio would become smitten by Josslyn, and a love triangle would ensue between him, Joss, and Dex.
Or, at least he may play some role in making Dex jealous and perhaps want a reconciliation with Joss, point General Hospital Spoilers. But it seems that’s not the case at all! Joss and Dex have enough feelings for each other to want a reconciliation all on their own and do not require a third party’s involvement.
Thus, making Gio’s role in their take unnecessary. Yet, there has to be some reason for him to stick around in PC, no? What if the reason is Trina? Maybe, the two of them will cross paths in the upcoming episodes and strike a cord! They already have quite a few things in common to start small talk!
Both of them have an innate interest in art, tease General Hospital Spoilers. So that could serve as a common ground for them to embark on a journey that eventually takes a romantic turn. If that happens, it would be perfect for a long-term storyline. Especially, if Spencer returns at some point!
A perfect love triangle would be ready for him to jump right in. Then, he might even get the perfect opportunity to fight and win back the woman he so dearly loves! It would also give Trina some room to portray some more intense emotions, like feeling torn between two men she loves!
