Next week on GH, Carly Corinthos Spencer, played by Laura Wright, must face her good friend Sam McCall, portrayed by Kelly Monaco. Despite their strong friendship, Sam is furious that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is sacrificing himself to keep Carly out of prison. Drew is taking all the fallout, which includes losing three precious years with his daughter. Sam feels Carly isn’t being held accountable for her actions, a sentiment that strains their friendship to the breaking point.

While Sam’s anger is somewhat mitigated when she learns Carly must pay a hefty $5 million fine, she still believes this punishment pales in comparison to the three years in Pentonville that Drew is facing. The tension between Carly and Sam reaches a boiling point next week when Sam confronts Carly and gives her a piece of her mind. This confrontation will undoubtedly put their friendship to the ultimate test.

Later, Sam meets with her friend Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to discuss the situation further. Meanwhile, Drew receives a significant gift that could potentially change his outlook on his predicament.

Elsewhere in Port Charles, there is some positive news for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Also, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) takes a moment to reassure his son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), which brings some much-needed warmth and support amid all the drama.

On a different note, the Fourth of July will feature an encore episode of Epiphany Johnson’s (Sonya Eddy) memorial, giving fans a chance to revisit and honor her legacy on the show.

Next week also brings some intriguing developments with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), who is on a diabolical mission. She first requests a meeting with legal shark Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy). Soon after, someone makes Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) an offer, which strongly suggests Tracy’s involvement. It appears that Tracy and Martin are plotting together to take over Deception. Despite pushback, Tracy is determined to see her plan through, showing her classic refusal to listen to reason.

Meanwhile, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) is doing some investigative work on Martin for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). This subplot promises to reveal some juicy secrets as Felicia digs deeper into Martin’s affairs.

In another storyline, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is horrified by a revelation, leading Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) closer to uncovering the ugly truth about Gladys. This discovery could shift the dynamics between several characters.

Additionally, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is grappling with his conscience. After meeting with his lawyer, Scott Baldwin (Ken Shriner), Cody becomes increasingly suspicious, which could lead to some significant decisions on his part.

Elsewhere in the General Hospital universe, Molly Lansing (Holiday Kriegel) confides in her sister, Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi), about her struggles. Molly’s partner, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), receives support from Curtis and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), showing the strength of family bonds during tough times.

Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is filled with regret, while Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) finds comfort and support from Terry Randolph (Cassandra James). These characters’ personal challenges add depth and complexity to the overall storyline, showcasing the human side of the medical drama.

General Hospital is full of surprises, and next week is no exception. The drama, tension, and emotional turmoil promise to keep fans on the edge of their seats.
